Coming Up:

 5/1 - Studio Theatre at 4pm, a UA Theatre Alum, Frank Whaley, will be coming to do a talk with students.  Frank Whaley is a prolific actor appearing in such movies as Swing Kids, Pulp Fiction and School of Rock as well as numerous TV shows including House and Psych (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001844/).  Frank Whaley also founded the Malaparte Theatre Company with Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard and Steve Zahn.  Please join us in welcoming him.

Our annual awards dinner party, honoring the talented and titilative characters that grace our theatre department. Named after Agnes Futterer, that foxy lady whose portrait hangs in the red lounge, more importantly a very dedicated teacher to our department.

This years theme will be the roaring 20's so ladies and gent's dress appropriately!

The cost for the Aggies will be $15 for students, $10 for graduating seniors, and faculty gets in for free. This cost includes dinner, the awards events, and the after party at Bombers.

The Menu for all you starving artists is:
Chicken Parmesan
Eggplant Parmesan
Baked Ziti
Buffalo Wings

and other yummy snacks including fruits,veggies, and cookies!
If you are interested in helping out you may come for FREE just contact Caridel Cruz.

Also there will be an after party held on the 3rd floor of Bombers Burrito Bar.

  • Thanks to all who attended our talk with Mr. Gurguis, it seemed to be a big success! : )

  • If you are interested in helping to set up for the Aggies AND ATTENDING FOR FREE, please let us know by April 17th.

  • If you are a graduating senior and would like to be roasted at the Aggies (a la Friar's Club or Comedy Central comedian roasts), please let the Theatre Council know by April 17th.  You will be responsible for finding your own roaster. 

  • If you have any photos/video from any Theatre Department or Theatre Council events, we would be very interested in speaking with you as we would like to incorporate some video and photos into our celebration of the year's work.

  • Please contact the Theatre Council if interested in being on the e-board next year.
